The National Environment encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally on Earth as some region thereof. Complete ecological units that function as natural system without massive human intervention including al vegetation, soil micro organism, rocks, atmosphere and natural phenomena that occur within their boundaries.
The importance of environmental protection and conservation measures has been increasingly recognized during the past two decade. Much of the land currently under agriculture is deteriorating due to in appropriate planning, implementation and management. Irrigation and drainage project invariably result in many for reaching ecological change.
Lakes and wetlands have been playing a crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance in their surrounding ecosystem. Their importance has been recognized in the maintenance of biodiversity, ecology hydrology and recreation.
Earth Day
Earth day is on April 22 and on this day we are encouraged to protect and take care of our Earth. After all it's the only Earth we got. We must learn to conserve, recycle and pollute.
Environment Day on 5th June
Earth is not disposable. Be part of the solution, not of air pollution, Join the revolution and stop the pollution. Nature is life. No nature No life forever green.
Aims of the club
A multi-disciplinary approach to learning that develops the knowledge, awareness, attitudes values and skills that will enable individuals and the community to contribute towards maintaining and improving the quality of the environment
- Awareness and sensitivity to the environment and related issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of the environment and the impact of people on it.
Environmental resource management is purposeful activity with the goal to maintain and improve the state of an environmental resource affected by human activities.
Environmental resources management aims to ensure that eco-system services are protected and maintained for equitable use by future human generation, and also maintain ecosystem integrity as an end in itself by taking into consideration ethical economic and scientific variables.
