Dayavati Dharmavira Public School ,an institution which is a brain child and a dream project of Vira family who wanted quality Education to be accessible and affordable for the people of Bijnor,was established in 1991 to commemorate the memory of Smt.Dayavati Vira,wife of Padam Vibushan Shri. Dharma Vira, an eminent Civil Servant and Former Governor. The School is successfully running under the aegis of Vira Charitable Society which was established by Shri. Dharmavira and his brother Shri Kanti Vira and Shri. Satya Vira in memory of their father Jwala Prasad.
The aim of the school is to provide good education upto Senior Secondary level (CBSE) through English medium and inculcate in its students the qualities of integrity, honesty, trust, tolerance and compassion, to promote a spirit of enquiry and thus help the students to become a meaningful part of society.

The school aims to provide all facilities to its students to make them active and sportive.To find out the hidden talents of the students and to encourage their creativity; a Quarterly Newsletter, ‘Glorious Heights’ is published which documents the students’ success, achievements and creativity. The wonderful journey of Glorious Heights started from July 2003under the guidance of the then President of the school Shri Indu Vira Ji. and the journey has documented fifty four steps by now.Apart from it efforts are done to achieve inherent objectives by organizing rallies, seminars, exhibitions, excursions and interhouse competitions.
