The School was established under the aegis of Vira Charitable Society Dharam Nagri Bijnor in 1991 in the memory of Smt Dayawati Vira wife of Padmavibhushan Dharma Vira, Eminent Civil servant and former Governor of Punjab and Haryana 1966-67 ,West Bengal 1967-69, Karnataka (Mysore) 1969–72.
